Donna,

all govt examiners have their business built in for them. Most private examiners have their clientele base set and while they accept additional work or contracts it's periodic and usually based on their locality.

Grogan has a unique aspect in what he does. He is a private "examiner", promoting an association and business which is self supporting. Like "Dr" Humble, he is an expert horn tooter. While most professional examiners would never accept the garbage tests he performs, he does it with gusto and without embarrassment for his lack of qualification.

Quite the opposite, he made his own school, association, standards, web sites and qualifications and expertly promotes them.

Too bad we professionals can't accomplish that, huh?
